Barça inagurate Nike store

Joan Laporta was accompanied by Ronaldinho, Gianluca Zambrotta and Giovani Dos Santos at the opening of a Nike megastore in Beijing at midday on Friday.
It is the American sportswear company's biggest
shop in China and is the new flagship store in the region. The event saw huge numbers of fans wait
patiently for the arrival of Ronaldinho, who appeared to enjoy meeting everyone before heading off
for the squad's first training session since their arrival earlier in the day.

The Brazilian superstar, along with Zambrotta and
Dos Santos, met with the world 100m hurdles champion, Liu Xiang at the opening and all of them have
had a hand in removing the red cloth that covered the entrance to the new Nike shop. Once the
formalities were carried out, the quartet paid a quick visit to the shop where they found a display
of FC Barcelona replica shirts.
Laporta was also present at the store, which is in a shopping mall in the Chinese capital, along with technical secretary Txiki Begiristain and director Albert Perrin.

Presidential meeting
FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta heard all the details about the first store in China to be
opened by Nike from the president of the Nike Brand, Charlie Densom. Up until now Nike have had
3,000 shops in the country, but all of those were franchises.
