Mario Kasun suffers injury

FC Winterthur centre Mario Kasun has suffered an injury to his shin, which will delay his return to the set up. His new injury is not related to his previous.

Mario Kasun suffered a stress fracture to the shin on the 9th of January, which put him out for 6 weeks. Following this period of absence, Kasun returned to fitness after eight weeks.

On Thursday, however, he picked up a tendon injury in the same area, although according to the club’s medical team, the two injuries are not related.

Kasun will now undergo a special treatment plan in order to get him back into the set up as quickly as possible.
