Super Cup comes too soon
The first official title of the season came during the pre-season. Less than a month after beginning training, Barca faced Roncato Patí Vic in the Spanish Super Cup - the champion of the OK League, Barça Sorli Discau, and of the Kings Cup, Vic.
Vic enjoyed the home advantage and won the first game 4-1, with a hat trick from Miquel Masolive.
Barca needed to win comfortably the following week.
David Páez had missed the first leg due to a blue card in the last game of the previous
league season. With him back in the team, Barca managed a 4-3 win but it wasn’t enough to
lift the Super Cup.
