While with the Basque outfit, he also won the Spanish Super Cup (1995-96) and a European Cup Winners Cup (1996-97).

In 1997, he signed for one of Europe's other big names, THW Kiel, with whom he won 3 German Leagues, 3 German Cups and a German Super Cup, and 1 EHF Cup. In the summer of 2001, he moved to another German giant, SC Magdeburg, where he spent three seasons (2001-04) and won a Champions League medal and a European Super Cup. He spent the 2004-05 season with yet another German club, Wallau Massenheim, and after a brief spell in Qatar, moved to Pick Szeged, winning the 2005-06 Hungarian Cup.

Throughout his career, he has been a fixture in the Yugoslav national team, winning the bronze medal in the 1996 European Championships and the 1999 World Cup.
