Semi-finals in June
The semi-finals of the Copa Catalan had been played six months earlier in June, just after the end of the 2007-08 season. Barça Mobicat demolished Grupo Novoa l’Hospitalet 12-0

The first Copa Catalana

The Copa Catalana was the only trophy won by the Futsal team this season. They beat Marfil Santa Coloma in December’s final, with Carlos Muñoz making his debut.

Barça Mobicat finished off 2008 with a flourish by winning the Club’s first ever Copa Catalan on 30th December. The final was played in the Teresa Maria Roca Pavilion in Mataró against Marfil Santa Coloma.

Former Marfil star Rafa Muñoz got his first goal of the season for Barça to make it 3-0 and Fernandao added a fourth in the 34th minute.

Debut for Carlos Muñoz

Carlos Muñoz played his first game for the Club after signing from Caja Segovia. He came on in the sixth minute and almost scored with his first touch of the ball.
