However, the number '7' hopes to continue doing what he does best - and now, with the chance of more pitch time, he can "I had a good game and scored a goal, I'm happy and I hope to continue in the same way, it's my big chance and I want to take full advantage of it".
Saviola

Guddy - the conditions of being first choice
One of his team mates, José Edmílson, had words of praise for the Icelandic forward: "He's a well prepared player, he has a lot of experience and I think he has every right to get his chance as first choice".
The Brazilian midfielder gave his views on the dismissal of Casas which was brought about by a foul on Gudjohnsen: "he was the last man, the rules are clear - it was a red". Gudjohnsen himself, however, is not so sure "it was a foul, but it's difficult to say whether or not it was red, it's the ref's decision".
