Saviola in the frame

The injury to Samuel Eto'o has paved the way for Saviola to return to the first team line up. Sitting out of this Saturday's game along with Eto'o will be Ezquerro, Oleguer and Silvinho.

Saviola comes into the frame to fill the space left by the injured Samuel Eto'o, who is out for five months. Silvinho and Oleguer, who played against Werder Bremen in midweek, are rested for the game tomorrow and Ezquerro is still out due to injury.

Gio and Marquez return

Returning to the squad are Gio and Márquez; both of whom did not feature against Bremen. Gio replaces Silvinho who isn't 100percent fit, Márquez gives Rijkaard an extra option in defence.

Centre forward

For this Saturday's game against Athletic Bilbao, Frank Rijkaard has options as to who he will play as centre forward. The possibilities include; Gudjohnsen, who has scored one and got a penalty awarded; Ronaldinho, who is not unfamiliar to the position; Saviola, who has occupied this position on a regular basis in the past and even Messi.

Eto'o - first game out since

February Rijkaard cannot rely on Samuel Eto'o for the first time since February. The reason for his previous absence was his participation in the African cup of nations. In his absence, Barça's run of fourteen straight league victories came to an end against Athletico Madrid on the 5th February at the Camp Nou (1-3).
