Objectives

In this new phase and as the social identity of the institution, the Fundació FC Barcelona will be providing its programmes and services both on a local and international level, on the basis of three basic lines of action:


1. Social/Solidarity Programme:

- To favour and promote activities aimed at normalising the social conditions of disabled people, immigrants and other collectives at risk of social exclusion.

- To promote actions that combat extreme poverty and disease affecting mainly the most vulnerable children on the planet, and benefiting universal education and gender equality, just as established by the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

2. Institutional/Cultural Programme:

- Aimed at contributing to and promoting the development of Barça as being "more than a club” both on a local and international level, along with a solid commitment to culture in all of its forms, and the defence of civilian values, liberty and democracy, elements the institution has always defended and that form the basis of our national character.

3. Educational/Care Programme:

- To promote and develop the values of sport among young people, as well as respect, companionship and tolerance, both in schools and in sports clubs and leisure centres.

- To develop youth sport and the educational development of the sportspeople that form part of the Barça institution.

- To provide support and care to veteran players that have formed and still form part of the history of our institution.
