Tribute to 35 years of Barça work

The supporters clubs of the Agrupació de Tarragona Nord paid tribute to the man who was, until now, the president of the Gran Penya de Tarragona i Província, Miquel López, who has worked tirelessly for the association for no less than 35 years.

The Penya Casal Barcelonista de Tarragona’s social centre was the venue chosen to pay this well-deserved tribute to Miquel López on September 18. 35 years after he took the helm of the Gran Penya de Tarragona i Província, he is going leave the presidency in the hands of Jordi Carnasa. From now on, Miquel López, will be the organisation’s Honorary President.

The Agrupació de Penyes de Tarragona Nord wanted to hold the event to recognise his major contribution to Barça support and supporters clubs in particular, and was emotionally applauded by all those present.

Bimonthly meeting

Before the heart-warming ceremony, the 19 supporters clubs gathered at the headquarters of the Gran Penya de Tarragona i Província held their bimonthly meeting, at which they touched upon a wide variety of issues relating to the present day supporters club environment.
