Barça Mobicat stage comeback (1-4)

Cristina Collado

Barça Mobicat picked up their first away win against MRA Navarra in four attempts. They came back from a goal down and keep themselves in second place in the table.

Barça Mobicat had only managed one draw in their last four visits to MRA Navarra but fought back from 1-0 to win 1-4. They remain in second place in the Division of Honour.

MRA take the lead

MRA set a blistering pace and Cristian had to work hard to keep a clean sheet. A shot from Pablo after an assist from Lukaian came close.

The best chance for Barça Mobicat came in the 8th minute when Fernandao hit the post. Immediately after this, Eseverri set up Pablo to score at the far post.

The equaliser

PATL8146.JPGJuan Carlos López and Igor both had their chances to equalise while at the other end Cristian Domínguez saved a powerful long-range effort.

The equaliser came after top scorer Fernandao set up Carlos Muñoz to slot the ball in the net. Barça’s second came after Saad won back possession on the left and passed diagonally to Fernandao who fired past a helpless Juanito. Barça went in at the break winning 1-2.

Second half control

FC Barcelona Mobicat controlled most of the second half though only a good performance in goal by Cristian – backed up by four shots hitting the woodwork – kept the home side from drawing level.

However, Jordi Sánchez made it 1-3 fro Barça and the home team had to take risks.

Barça stayed firm and Cristian continued to shine in goal. Three minutes from the end, Igor clinched the points with Barça’s fourth.
