10th ACB win (62-72)

Sònia de Alba

Regal Barça ran up their 10th win of the ACB season with a 62-72 win over Granada. It was a tough and hard won game that Barca finally were able to win by a clear 10 points.

Xavi Pascual's team overcame Granada in an irregular game in which both team failed to settle with the lack of fluidity from either team meaning that neither team clearly dominated.

Richard Hendrix was key for Granada as they tried to keep up their good start to the season and helped them fight back from a 4-10 lead that a Navarro three pointer helped set up. Trifon Poch's men were putting on the pressure and Xavi Pascual was forced to ring the changes.

Ricky injury

Good news for Barca was the reappearence of Basile who played a total of 4.31 minutes, though his time was restricted by his clear lack of match fitness for such a tough game.
Granada made early inroads to reach 12.5, but it was Barca who went in ahead at the break with a 28-29 lead.

Barca open up lead

The margin grew to 11 points as Barca blocked the rebounds and the team upped the pace to break through Granada's zonal defence.

However, Pablo Aguilar, who'd hardly impressed up to now, led a fightback for the locals as they scored 11 points without reply to draw level at 62-62.

The locals failed to keep their cool and Barca's experience showed as they played out the final minutes and reached a maximum 10 point difference at the game's end(62-72).
