Perovic, the first recruit

Regal Barça have reached an agreement-in-principle to sign Serbian center Kosta Perovic on a free transfer from Power Electronics Valencia.
The three-year deal is subject to a satisfactory medical and will make Perovic Regal Barca’s first recruit for the upcoming season. He dominates the inside game thanks to his height, 217 centimetres, and weight, 109 kg. Last season he averaged 8.4 points per game.
FC Barcelona retains the right to terminate the deal at the end of the second season.
Kosta Perovic joined Valencia in 2008, winning the Eurocup during his two seasons at the club. Today (Monday) Perovic and Valencia reached a mutual agreement to rescind his contract, which had a further year to run.
World Championships
Perovic becomes another name on a long list of Barca players who will be taking part in this August’s World Championships in Turkey and today he joined up with the Serbian squad. He’ll finalize his move to Regal Barca after the tournament.
