Best side in qualifying
The roller hockey team was on great form going into the Cup competition in La Corunya. They played brilliantly to reach the final, starting against Viva Habitat Blanes, winning 3-1 in the opening round, a round that has a habit of throwing up unexpected results.

The semi final produced a roller hockey classic in Barça v Reus. Barça kept their cool and played strategically on the Galician court, and knew how to take their chances and command the final minutes of the game to eventually win through 4-2.

Cup won by Vic

Barça Sorli Discau lost the final of the Copa del Rey against Roncato Patí Vic. A penalty scored by Titi Roca broke the deadlock and won Vic’s first ever title.

The two best sides of the season played in the Copa del Rey final in La Corunya. Great defending from Ferran Pujalte’s side meant that Barça failed to grab a late equaliser to take the game into overtime.

Vic had scored first through Titi Roca, but then Barça Sorli Discau equalised thanks to Teixidó. That remained the score at half time.

It was an end to end battle, eventually tipped by a rather rigorous penalty awarded against Mia Ordeig for an apparent foul on Marc Torra. Roca scored again, and Vic then set about defending their 2-1 lead, and did so to perfection, thus winning the title for the time in club history against a Barça side that will feel they also deserved to get their hands on the trophy.
