Road to the final
Guardiola’s side reached the final by beating Ceuta (first round), Athletic Bilbao (round of 16), Betis (quarters) and Almeria (semi final). Barça won all of their first legs resoundingly apart from the one with Bilbao. The Lions got a 0-0 draw at the Camp Nou but an Abidal in the second leg saw the Catalans through.
