On August 21 and 22, the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya holds the XXXII Supporters’ Club World Congress. This time, it will be held in two different sessions so as to bring up the last parts of all the work carried out throughout the season.

Sunday 21, work Congress

A work and debate congress will be held on Sunday August 21. Vicepresident of the Social Area Jordi Cardoner i Casaus will open this session. Immedately afterwards, auditing firm Adoria will present the conclusions on the study regarding the penyes movement undergone during the year, being its aim that of raising the brand “penya”, as well as developing the project Penyes XXI Century.

Once the grounds are settled, all attendants will be divided in two presentations. These sessions will introduce the future actions that Club and Supporters’ Club Advisory Council suggest to carry out regarding all penyes. Issues such as the new movement’s organization, supporters’ club and its members identity, as well as their quality rather than its quantity will be the main concerns during these discussions. Other issues are also to be discussed, such as interaction between Club and supporters’ clubs, being new communication tools a top priority. 

Sunday 22, final Congress and lunch

The institutional Congress will take place on Sunday, during which the next steps to follow will be decided. Jordi Cardoner will open the session once again, and will welcome all the attendants, along with directors of the Social Area Pau Vilanova and Josep M. Barnils, and Supporter’s Clubs Advisory Council spokesperson Antoni Guil, who will analize all the work of the Social Area and penyes movement carried out so far and forthcoming projects. A summary and conclusions of the previous days discussions will be also exposed during their speeches.

Questions and requests is the last section of the Congress, which will be followed by president Sandro Rosell’s speech. The gala lunch will conclude the XXXIII Supporters’ Clubs World Congress.
