Victory ahead of Cup competition

Barça Sorli Discau beat HC Quevert 10-1 in the fourth game of the Roller Hockey Champions League to maintain their unbeaten record in the competition and give themselves a boost before Cup competition begins.

It was back to winning ways for Ferrán Pujalte after losing Against Lloret last week and after dominating this game they will go into the cup competition with much more confidence.

Strong start

Both teams came out strongly and if Carlos López and Lluis Teixidó represented a danger up front for Barca, no less a threat was posed by the Quevert pair Minuzzi and López, who combined together on 7 minutes and nearly put their team ahead. Indeed Lopez could have also scored when Egurrola saved the first penalty of the game.

Barca tightened up their defence though and on 10 minutes Adroher robbed a ball deep in his own half and took it up the pitch to open the scoring, a lead which was doubled two minutes before the break when Carlos scored from the penalty line.

Spectacular second half

In a spectacular start to the second half, Barca scored twice in the first minute through Beto Borregán and Panadero and after that the goals just kept coming with Reinaldo García on the mark four minutes later. There were plenty of chances after that as Barca dominated and even Quevert could have scored were it not for a dominant Octavi Tarrés and their own failure from the penalty spot, but it wasn’t until the final 7 minutes that more goals came with Mia Ordeig firing home two great shots, Carlos Lopez grabbing number 8 and Androher getting his hat trick with two goals in a minute. Finally, Quevert got off the mark when Minuzzi scored with just 39 seconds left on the clock.
