Barça Sorli Discau win in Vilafranca (1-4)

The hockey team have beaten Vilafranca 1-4. Barça went in at the break 0-3 ahead and managed the game well in the second half to finished clear winners.

Barça Sorli Discau continue to battle it out with Coinasa Liceo for top place in the league table.

Vilafranca started the game strongly and the Barça defence, in particular keeper Egurrola, had to work hard to keep the score line goalless.

Reinaldo shines before the break

In the 8th minute, Carlitos López finished off a David Paéz attack to put Barça ahead.

As the game progressed Barça began to feel more and more comfortable and shortly before the end of the first half Sergi Panadero got Barça’s second.

However, the best move of the game came from Argentine defender Reinaldo García, who slammed home a powerful shot to give Barça a 0-3 halftime lead.

Assuring the points

Although a Barça win now seemed assured, the players had to work hard to avoid too many fouls.

But there was time for another Barça goal before Marçal Montserrat got a consolation goal for Vilafranca, a club that will have to work hard to avoid relegation.
