Barça Atlètic have attained their eighth consecutive victory after beating Terrassa 4-0 with goals from Soriano, Armando and Thiago, as well as a ninth-minute own-goal from Canet.

Barça dominated from the outset, but Terrassa looked strong and prevented Barça from getting near the goalmouth.

Early goal

A first-half fright

In the 16th minute, a foul caused Gai Assulin to fall nastily down the steps around the pitch. Fortunately, the Israeli player was just a bit shook up and had only suffered a cut, but he was still substituted by Edu Oriol. The incident seemed to affect Luis Enrique’s men, but they were still able to unfold their style of play.

Goal-scoring efficiency

Then in the 38th minute, leading goal-scorer Jonathan Soriano made it 2-0 with a shot from in front of the area. In the dying moments of the half, Thiago headed to Armando, who shot the ball home to make it 3-0.

Decisive

Luis Enrique’s men came on in the second half looking ready to prevent Terrassa from pulling back. Thiago made the result decisive with Barça’s fourth goal in the 50th minute with a great shot.
With the outcome now clear, the Blaugranas had other chances, but they came to nothing. Nevertheless, they dominated the rest of the game and Terrassa didn’t get a look-in.
