Victor Valdés played his 300th League game on Saturday, and he did it against the same opposition as when he made his debut on September 1st, 2002, Atletico Madrid. Here are other stats from the match.

Valdes reaches 300 matches

► The Barça keeper has let in 243 goals in the 300 matches. That is, 0.81 goals per game. In total he’s made 415 appearances for Barça.

► Next Sunday, at Sporting, Valdes can equal the record of Andoni Zubizarreta, who played 301 League games for Barça. In total matches, however, Valdes has already passed Zubi (415 to 410).

► Mascherano has started every official game of the season, except one, the game at Real Sociedad. Against Atletico Madrid he was back in central defence.

► Busquets has started every game since the European Super Cup against Porto. That day he was on the bench.

2011-09-24_PARTIDO_07.JPG► Villa has scored in the last three matches at the Camp Nou. He scored two goals against Osasuna, one against AC Milan, and one more against Athletico Madrid.

► Atletico Madrid was one of the few teams that Villa had not scored against as a Barça player. Now there only remains Zaragoza, Levante, Valencia, and the three teams that came up this season.

► Pique played his first league game of the season. He did it on the day he celebrated the fifth anniversary of his debut in the Premier League, with Zaragoza.

► Up to now, the three matches at the Camp Nou have resulted in big wins: 5-0 against Villarreal, 8-0 against Osasuna, and 5-0 against Atletico, a total of 18 goals for and none against.

► In fact, Barça hasn’t let in a goal in the League at the Camp Nou since April, when Almeria scored one (3-1).
