Barça travel to Kazan on Monday

CF Barcelona’s first-team squad will travel to Kazan on Monday and have two days to prepare for their Champions League encounter with Rubin.

The party will undertake the 3,300-kilometre journey, which involves a five-and-a-half hour flight, as they return to European competition. Pep Guardiola’s side play the game on Wednesday, but were keen to arrive early in order to have time to recover from the trip.

After arriving in Kazan at 20:30 local time (18:30 CET) the players will spent the night in the hoteal and then work out once more at 17:00 on Tuesday in the Central Stadium.

Flight home

The game will kick off at 20:30 local time (18:30 CET) on Wednesday and the squad will then fly back to Barcelona immediately afterwards and are expected to land at 03:30 on Thursday morning.
