Cool evening session

Marc Guillén / Roger Bogunyà

After working twice-a-day earlier in the week the FC Barcelona players only had one training session on Thursday as they worked in cool conditions.

Starting at 19:00 on the pitch at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper complex the Blaugrana stars were put through an intense physical work-out as the coaches aim to raise their fitness levels. After a few scorching days in the Catalan capital the temperatures were low enough to enjoy training and there were also plenty of smiles after the players were given the morning off.

A new face: Isaac Cuenca

Dos Santos and Edu Oriol they are reinstated

2010-07-22_ENTRENO_22.JPGA week remains for the players to find their fitness before the opening friendly of the pre-season programme kicks off in Norway against Valerenga. The usual summer signs have been in evidence with players picking up minor knocks but both Jonathan Dos Santos and Edu Oriol were back in training after missing Wednesday's session.

Víctor Vázquez and Andreu Fontàs were missing from the main group though as they continued their recuperation programmes to one side.
