Maxwell back in squad for Riazor trip

Brazilian full back Maxwell has recovered from the thigh strain that ruled him out of the midweek Cup game in Bilbao and is back in the squad for this Saturday’s trip to La Coruña.

With Maxwell’s return, Pep Guardiola has been able to call up the whole squad for the game against Deportivo- Of the party of 21 – all 20 first team squad members and B team youngster Thiago – Guardiola will have to leave three out of the final 18 for the game.

The 21 players all trained at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this morning in pleasantly mild temperatures and with Wednesday’s scorer Abidal amongst the happiest and most smiling players on show.
