Final session of 2009

Neus Pérez / Jordi Clos

Barça has ended the best year in club history at the Ciutat Esportiva. 17 first team and 4 reserve team members were involved in training today.

Barça’s dream year is over, and the players gathered for the final session of the decade at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. There were no major changes with respect to the last three meetings, the first ones to take place as the Christmas break. As on Wednesday, Andrés Iniesta worked with the rest of the group and the main talking point was the upcoming game with Vila-real.

21 players

Injured Keita and Jeffren continued their treatment programmes. As on previous days, reserve players Gai Assulin, Thiago Alcántara, Víctor Vázquez and Jonathan dos Santos also worked with the first team.

No New Year break

Then on Saturday, a few hours before entertaining Vila-real at the Camp Nou, there will be further training, this time in the actual stadium.
