Bojan: "I am not purely a striker"

Jaume Marcet

Bojan Krkic has stated that he feels capable of playing in any one of the three attacking positions and was delighted by his goalscoring exploits in midweek.

The 19-year-old rose through the ranks as a striker, but he now believes that he has adapted his game. "I do not fight to play in my position in the middle," he told a press conference on Friday.

Different positions

Liberation

The two goals against Cultural in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday boosted the youngster’s confidence. "When you re given time and having not scored since the first day of the season it was important to do so," he explained. "A goal always makes a striker happy. I felt that it was a feeling of liberation when I scored against Cultural."
