Four protagonists of windy win

Edgar Fornós

Saturday's game against Mallorca was marked by the presence of gale force winds, which blew all through the game and certainly made for an extra difficulty for the players.

It was the biggest crowd of the season so far and the 77,000 supporters certainly knew that autumn was upon us as the wind and cold descended on the Nou Camp. For Xavi, Henry, Keita and Pedro, the 4-2 win was important for different reasons.

Henry back on target

Henry was back doing what he does best – scoring, the third goal was his first in the league this season on his comeback from a 9 game layoff.

Xavi equals Rexach

Pedro coming of age

Right from the start of this season, Pedro has been showing that this was going to be the campaign in which he really came of age after spending last year between the reserves and the first team. His two goals against Mallorca take him to eight for the season – the same as Ibrahimovic.

Keita voted Player of the Month

First penalty in eight months
The Nou Camp fans had almost forgotten what it was like, but finally, Barca were awarded a penalty – the first since March 26th – which Messi coolly put away.
