The Barça has prepared this Sunday in the Camp Nou the encounter before the Sporting of Gijón. They have not intervened Gudjohnsen neither Henrique, slopes to resolve their future.

FC Barcelona trained in Camp Nou on Sunday afternoon ahead of the opening league game of the season against Sporting Gijón a day later after enjoying a light session 24 hours before having played in Monaco. Andrés Iniesta and Rafael Márquez both trained normally, but neither were given the green light to be included in the squad for Monday's match.

Eidur Gudjohnsen and Henrique did not appear either as both players continue to hold negotiations about their futures, while Yaya Touré was sidelined with a knock and stayed in the changing rooms doing specific exercises. Lionel Messi was also absent as he is in Argentina.

The squad trained in two groups with one set being those that started the European Super Cup final in Monaco and the other being the rest.

Barça will train again at 11.30am on the morning of the game against Sporting Gijón in Camp Nou and the session will be behind closed doors.
