Returning to normality

Berta Brau / Anna Segura

Pep Guardiola has seen his players return from international little-by-little this week with Andrés Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol and Cáceres all report back for training on Thursday. Now only Dani Alves and Lionel Messi are set to come.

The FC Barcelona first-team are slowly returning to normality after the break for international games left the Blaugrana coach with just two regulars to train with. Throughout the week more and more have been returning.

Four more

Easy session

Like when previous players went back, those that returned on Thursday were able to enjoy an easy session of recovery after their matches on Wednesday evening, while the rest of the players continued their preparations for the game against Athletic Club on Sunday (7pm).

Two more to arrive
Dani Alves and Lionel Messi are the only two Barça players not to have returned from international duty, but both are expected to be back in time for training on Friday evening at 6pm in Camp Nou.
