Henry out of squad

The French striker has not recovered from his bout of pharyngitis in time for Sunday’s game in El Molinon. Abidal and Sergio Busquets, however, have returned to the squad.

The squad of eighteen players for the visit to Sporting Gijon has ben released and missing are Henry, who hasn’t recovered from his pharyngitis yet, Hleb, Milito and Jorquera who are injured, and Sylvinho and Victor Sanchez, who haven’t been called up for technical reasons.

Training session in the Nou Camp

The squad trained this Saturday morning in the Nou Camp with Henry returning after having missed the double session on Friday due to pharyngitis. The French striker trained alone while on the other hand, Rafa Marquez, who has also overcome a bout of pharyngitis, was able to train without any problems

The only player missing from the training session was Victor Sanchez, who was called up by Luis Enrique for Barça Atletic’s game against Atletic Balears (18.00 Barça TV).
