FC Barcelona have trained for the final time this week on the pitch at Masía. Guardiola has given his players the weekend off, and training resumes on Monday.

FC Barcelona manager, Josep Guardiola has decided that his players can have a two-day break, and will not be required to report back to the club until Monday. Only five players were involved in the Friday morning session: Valdés, Pinto, Sylvinho, Alves and Eto'o.

The lack of human resources is the result of 15 players being away on international duty.

The Catalan defender trained under the orders of Luís Enrique at the Ciudad Deportiva, rather than with the first team as expected, as the Barça Atlètic coach wanted to involve him in preparations for Sunday’s game at the Miniestadi against Gramenet.
