Guardiola to take whole squad to Mestalla


Pep Guardiola has decided to take all the available 18 players to the Cup Final in Valencia, with just the injured Iniesta, Henry, Márquez, Milito and Jorquera and the suspended Abidal missing out.

As he has done throughout the season when the team faced a big game, Guardiola has decided to take all available players with him, even though in the case of the Spanish Cup Final, he will have to reduce his squad to 16 before kick off.

12-05-09_WEB_MESSI_Y_ALVES_01.jpgThe full squad to travel is: Valdés, Pinto, Alves, Puyol, Piqué, Cáceres, Sylvinho, Víctor Sánchez, Touré, Busquets, Keita, Xavi, Gudjohnsen, Hleb, Bojan, Eto’o, Pedro and Messi.

Whilst Iniesta will be absent, all the rest of the players - Thierry Henry, Rafa Márquez, Gaby Milito, Albert Jorquera and Éric Abidal will also travel to give their support to the team in Mestalla.

Barca will travel down to Valencia tomorrow, Wednesday. The players will meet up at the Nou Camp, before making their way to El Prat for the short flight to Valencia.
