Team travel to Madrid on Saturday

As has happened on a number of occasions this season, the team will travel on the same day as the league match, in this case on Saturday morning to Madrid.

After the goalless draw against Chelsea on Tuesday evening, the team is now fully focussed on the key league clash away to Real Madrid on Saturday. The team will travel to the Santiago Bernabéu on the same day as the match, a practice that has become quite common for league matches this season – the most recent examples being against Valencia and Getafe (also in Madrid).

Saturday’s travel plans

The players are due to report to the Camp Nou at 10 am and will go to Barcelona airport by coach from where they will fly to Madrid at 11 pm. Kick-off in what promises to be a nail-biting contest with the side managed by Juande Ramos is at 8 pm.

The programme in Madrid

The Barça party is scheduled to arrive in Madrid at 12 noon and will go directly to the hotel. They will remain here until they go to the stadium.

The team will return to Barcelona immediately after the match and are due back in Barcelona at half past midnight.
