This week the football first team has a Cup match on Thursday against Mallorca and a League clash with Sporting Gijon on Sunday.

After a month of playing Cup and the League matches in the same week, Barça are beginning the last one in which they have two games for a while. They have no more midweek matches until 24 February when they take on Olympique Lyon in the Champions League.

Recovery Monday
This Monday morning the first team trained behind closed doors at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper complex. Seven reserve team players - Maric, Nolito, Abraham, Longas, Rayo, Rueda and Benja – were also present.

The players in the starting XI against Racing Santander, together with Pedro and Víctor Sánchez who turned out for Barça Atlètic, did recovery work. Meanwhile the injured Keita, Milito and Puyol combined gym work with exercises out on the pitch away from the main group.
