Jorquera: torn cruciate ligaments in right knee: operation on Jan 3rd

Magnetic resonance performed today on Albert Jorquera has confirmed that he has torn cruciate ligaments in his right knee. The player will go for surgery on Thursday January 3 in an operation to be performed by doctors Ramon Cugat and Ricard Pruna.

The worst has been confirmed and goalkeeper Albert Jorquera has suffered a cruciate injury that will require an operation later this week. The injury was sustained in the early minutes of the Catalan national side’s match played against Euskadi last Saturday.

For games played

This could not have come at a worse time for Jorquera. He has been playing in all Copa del Rey matches, and there are five games in that competition to be played in January. He already played in the first leg of the current tie against Alcoyano ( 0-3 ) and also started the Champions League game with Stuttgart and the two games in the Copa Catalunya.
