Márquez and Marc Crosas back in squad

The squad for the Cup game features the return of Márquez and also of Crosas. However, Zambrotta (suspended) and Ezquerro (groin) are both unavailable together with the South American players that have been called up for international duty.


The squads in the Kings Cup are restricted to 16 players. Márquez and Marc Crosas return to Tuesday’s squad, for which many players are unavailable.

Medical all-clear for Márquez

entreno_121107_x3x.jpgRafa Márquez has been cleared for tomorrow’s Cup game after suffering a pulled muscle in his right leg while warming up for the midweek clash with Glasgow Rangers.

Meanwhile, Marc Crosas returns to the squad for the first time since the match in Ibrox Park.

Zambrotta suspended

Gianluca Zambrotta, who was sent off in Saturday’s game against Getafe, will serve out his match ban this Tuesday.

Ezquerro injured

entreno_121107_x10x.jpgSanti Ezquerro will also miss the Cup match due to a groin problem. Club doctors announced this Monday that his recovery time will depend upon the extent of the problem.

Milito, Messi and Ronaldinho on World Cup duty

Milito, Messi and Ronaldinho will also be unavailable for the Cup match as they have already joined up with their national teams for their qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup.
