Qatar party at Camp Nou

FC Barcelona entertained representatives of the Qatar Foundation for the first time at Camp Nou as Real Sociedad visited on Sunday evening.

Before the match president Sandro Rosell received the Qatari delegation that was headed by Dr. Saif Ali Al-Hajar, the vice president of the Qatar Foundation, and the pair had their photograph taken together.

On Monday, December 11, the official presentation will be made of the agreement between Barça and the Qatar Foundation that was made public last week. Rosell will introduce the event, which begins at 17:00, to explain the deal that will see the foundation’s name adorn the Barça shirts and run until 2016.

Arguiñano present

Other well known faces who attended the game against la Real included the Donostia club’s fan Carlos Arguiñano. The famous chef explained: “I have been a fan of la Real all my life. This year we are all pleased because we have begun
well. I am emotional about being here in this stadium and also very impressed.”

Arguiñano added: “Barça under Guardiola and the coach are making history and I hope that it lasts a long time because they are entertaining everyone.”
