Barça lead Facebook fans

FC Barcelona are the club with the most supporters on their official Facebook page with around 4.5 million followers signing up.

Since starting the page on the social networking site in November 2009 the Blaugrana have seen a huge rise in interest and are now aiming to top the five million mark. Just behind Barça are Turkish giants Galatasaray, then come Real Madrid, Fenerbahçe and Manchester United, among others.

Rapid increase

Last term Barça had 2,279, 804 followers on the Facebook page, but that has risen incredibly to exactly 4,491,993 fans. That total has been pushed up with an average of 186,000 supporters joining every week.

Ticket draw

To celebrate the success the Barça Fans Oficiales site, fcbfans.cat , are giving away two tickets to see FC Barcelona play Real Madrid in Camp Nou at the end of November with all people who sign up to the Facebook page before the total reaches five million being entered into the draw.
