The Gamper party, in detail


With only ten days to go before the 42nd Trofeo Joan Gamper match, FC Barcelona have revealed all the details of the events that fans will be able enjoy during the build-up.

On Wednesday, August 29 the Blaugrana entertain Internazionale in the annual encounter, which kicks off at 22:00. In the hours preceding the game there will be plenty to do as the club is set to lay on events and competitions within the Camp Nou complex.

Early start

The gates to the stadium forecourt will open at 18:00 and the turnstiles will then be opened an hour later, at 19:00. From then until kick off time, the public will be able to enjoy seeing shows, bands and take part in different spectacles. The following will also take place on the concourse next to the training pitch in front of La Masia:

- Acrobatic display
- Las Latinas
- La Caja de Pandora
- Fire show
- Dani Mata
- Ball keep-up competition
- Banghra
- Víctor from OT
- Rami
- Lexus
- Kunta K

As well as all this entertainment there will be plenty of refreshment outlets, provided by Serhs, and numerous stands for people to visit, including:

- Frit Ravich (inflatables)
- HP
- Web Junior
- Crece...
- Ticketing information

On the pitch

The activities will continue on the pitch too as the FC Barcelona players will be introduced to the crowd before a selection of people from different countries will sing the Barça hymn while an acrobatic dancer performs.

Photo exhibition
Between 18:00 and 21:00 on Wednesday, August 29 there will be a photographic exhibition on display from the Fundación FC Barcelona. Entitled 'Life and hopes of children with AIDS in Swaziland' the set of photos will introduce part of the programme that is taking place between the Fundación and UNICEF. The photos were taken by Mallorquin photographer, Pep Bonet. On the day of the Trofeo Joan Gamper, the exhibition will be situated on the main stand.
