Tough game mentally

Barca coach Xavi Pascual admitted that his team had put in an irregular performance against Granada, but reminded reporters that his team had just finished a very tough week.

“It was mentally a tough game for us following the three games we'd just played - Montepaschi, Unicaja and Fenerbahçe, which were played at a very high level”.

Pascual added: “We managed to maintain our concentration and hard work, but we lost concentration at times, which meant we lost the leads we'd built up. We suffered from their change in defence after we'd scored 11 points to none and they were able to put a break on our attacks. Fortunately, we were able to turn the situation around and end up winning”.
