Acker joins Barça

Alex Acker has signed for the basketball first team for one season. After several exchanges between Barça and the North American’s agent, the former Olympiakos star is finally joining our club.
AXA FC Barcelona and Acker have agreed to employ the player until the end of the present season, but have the option of terminating his contract on December 15 if the guard fails to prove that he is capable of returning to full fitness.
Exhaustive tests
The player will immediately be subjected to an intensive recovery programme, and the medical services will be monitoring his progress to verify that he satisfies established targets.
Injured last season
Alex Acker suffered a knee injury at the end of last season. The Californian was treated for the
injury, but did not recover in time to pass his medical test on arrival at FC Barcelona.
