Navarro arrives to an agreement with the Grizzlies

Juan Carlos Navarro has reached an agreement to join the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA for next season. The deal was struck on the day that a deadline laid down by the FC Barcelona ran out.
When Navarro announced his intention to try his luck in the United States, Barça gave him until July 25 to sort out his future so that they could know whether or not they would need to find a replacement. As the first deadline came and went, the Blaugrana set a new date for the player to aspire to find a new club and that day was August 3.
Now, the 27-year-old has reached a deal with Memphis and the shooting guard will put pen-to-paper on a deal in the next few days that could see him link up with former Barça team-mate Pau Gasol in the NBA.
