Cristian Ugalde García

Cristian is the younger brother of Antonio Ugalde and has risen through the ranks at Barça to the first team.

The coaches at the club all saw that he was an outstanding prospect and during the 2005-06 season he was given several chances to prove himself in the first team.

At the start of the 2006-07 campaign he was promoted to the first team squad in place of the left-sided Juanín García.

CHARACTERISTICS

A highly-rated left winger, Ugalde is very agile, shows quick movement and has a very strong throw. He can also play in several different positions and as well as appearing on the left can also be employed in defence.
