Laporta: “It is a historic day”
Joan Laporta told Barça TV and www.fcbarcelona.cat that the renewal of Andrés Iniesta makes for a historic day because the player, “on the one hand, has shown that he is one of the best players in the world, and on the other, because he sets an example for the younger members of the squad. Andrés is the perfect example of the merits of the Masia, and of Barça’s youth football scheme, he is the one children look up to, not just at Barça, but everywhere”.
