Henry out with gastroenteritis

Thierry Henry was the only player to miss training this morning – the French man missed the trip to Palafrugell with a bout of Gastroenteritis – whilst the rest of the squad enjoyed a session of ball control exercises and a practice match.

The 4.000 fans who turned up to see the squad training in Palafrugell today were treated to a full session with just Henry missing from the 20 man squad, whilst Alves, Abidal and Puyol, who is suspended for Saturday’s game against Getafe, trained apart from the rest of the players.

The session lasted just over an hour and the fans were treated to some ball control exercises before the keepers trained alone ahead of the practice match – undoubtedly the high point for the big crowd, who cheered every goal as if it was a winner in a real game at the Nou Camp.
