Leo Miyagata, the 6 year old Japanese kid who was caught on camera crying inconsolably after Barça’s defeat in the World Club Championship visited Camp Nou on Friday where he met many of his heroes.


He crossed the globe to fulfil his dream. From Tokyo to Barcelona, he arived at the Camp Nou where he met some of his Barça heroes. Gio, Xavi, Deco, Sylvinho and Edmílson all took time out to meet the young fan who could scarcely believe what was happening.

The highlight

qm3d2836.jpgThe most emotional moment was when Leo Miyagata met Ronaldinho. The Brazilian striker spent a few minutes when the young fan and also promised him the shirt he will wear in Sunday’s match with Levante. Leo sang the Barça anthem and also expressed his desire to learn how to play like the Barça number 10.

Signed souvenirs

qm3d2673.jpgFC Barcelona presented Leo Miyagata with a bag of goodies, including postcards of Barça players that he was able to get autographed.

No jet lag
In spite of the long flight and the time difference between Tokyo and Barcelona, Leo Miyagata did not suffer any effects of jet lag. His excitement at meeting his heroes helped him to overcome any tiredness after such a long trip.
