Messi is still the best
Leo Messi is the winner of the 2010 FIFA Ballon D’Oro after taking the trophy for the second year on the run. Messi won 22,65% of the votes, ahead of teammates Andrés Iniesta (17,36%) and Xavi Hernández (16,48%).

Spectacular end to a spectacular year
Messi’s award rounds off a marvellous 2010 for him, in which he’s scored 58 goals in 54 games. It’s the second Ballon D’Oro on the run for the Argentinean, who has led Barça throughout a year of records.
