Barça Tales

In order to promote culture, language and our Club’s sentiments, the Foundation, along with RAC1 and El Mundo Deportivo set up a writing competition with a prize of 3000 euros for the winner and 1500 for the runner-up.

The award involves entering stories written either in Catalan or Spanish on any subject, but related either directly or indirectly to Barça. FC. Barcelona also provides a third prize to the club member, Foundation member or “Gent del Barça” cardholder that writes the best story that does not get a prize, which is a trip to a Barça away game for two people.

The last edition in 2006 received 215 entries, and the winner was “L´home que vivia al camp nou” by Jordi Boladeras and the runner-up was “El jugador de futbolí que volia còrrer la banda” by Ramon Pardina. “Els guants de Pesudo” by member Carles Pérez won the special Foundation prize.
