Making dreams come true

www.fcbarcelona.cat

The FC Barcelona Foundation helps seriously ill children to meet first team footballers and see one of their dreams come true. More than thirty children benefit from this activity each year.

Kilian_164.JPGThis is done behind closed doors, and is rarely given much visibility, but put delight on many little faces. And it is an area that the Foundation is diligently dedicated to continuing on a regular basis.
Periodical visits

The Foundation usually organises this visits to take place after first team training sessions at the Ciutat Esportiva, in coordination with the Fundación Ilusiones and the Fundación Pequeño Deseo, two organisations that do a lot of work in this area.

Sensitive to vulnerable cases

Meeting Messi, Iniesta, Puyol or any of the other players is a dream come true for these children. Posing for photographs and getting autographs from these people, is a pricesless moment of joy for families going through difficult times. This is just one more example of the Foundation constant commitment to less fortunate children in our own country.

Gifts as well
The FC Barcelona Foundation also offers club merchandising to the children, including banners, caps, badges and other official club products. Sometimes the children also bear gifts for the players, often in the form of drawings or home-made bracelets, which the players always treasure carefully.
