New in All Colours 2008
For the fourth consecutive year, the Foundation will hold this sports competition for social integration. This year it will include Teams of boys and girls in the Alevin (under 12) category and will have its own website.
The Fundació FC Barcelona wants the All Colours (Tot Colors) to go a step further this summer.
Sport being a reflection of life and the social network, children will now be the stars on the
field and will get the chance to play alongside boys and girls of other nationalities through
teamwork as part of a series of sports days in their own territorial contexts.
So, social
cohesion will be reinforced on the pitch and also in the terraces as parents, relatives and friends
of the participants cheer on their teams, regardless of their origins.
Naturally, to do this, the Foundation wants to invite local councils to do their bit for the
All Colours tournament in order to promote social cohesion in their municipality through sport as
an educational tool for transmitting civilian values and fair play.
Organisation and composition of teams
The councils forming part of
the tournament will be the co-organisers of the territorial phase which will take place in June in
each municipality. This phase must include a minimum of four days involving six games.
Each town or district must form a minimum of three teams that will be specially created for
this competition, i.e. they should not be made up of groups of players that are used to playing
together.
Each team must consist of players of at least three different nationalities, of which between
two and four player must be Spanish nationals, and there must be at least two girls in order to
ensure that the composition of the teams is coherent with the objectives of social cohesion and
gender equality required by the competition.
