Foundation’s first Virtual Campus

As part of the programmes in the area of Sports and Citizenship Education, the Foundation is offering as part of its virtual campus a teacher training course that in this first edition is aimed at teachers in El Salvador.

The Educación para la ciudadanía a través de los valores de la deportividad (Education for citizenship through sporting values), that has been created by the Fundació FC Barcelona, will be offered from April 15 to forty teachers in El Salvador through the Foundation’s virtual campus and thanks to an agreement with the Organización de Estados Iberoamericanos (OEI).

The course will last for a total of 30 class hours, thirteen theory and seventeen practical, and will be aimed at teaching the participants to identify the educational opportunities offered by sport in the areas of values and citizenship, and at developing didactic activities using this as the basis.
